Dear mountain bike enthusiasts,
Can you feel the beating heart of the Hunsrück mountains? An incomparable adventure awaits you at the highest point of Rhineland-Palatinate… The unique ErbeskopfBike routes (20 km or 40 km) will lead you through the majestic landscapes of the Erbeskopf mountain. The event is now completely free of charge – and without timekeeping.

What are the start times?
Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 11:30 am*
Start of Sport Track (40 km** / approx. 870 m climb**) + start of Fun Ride (18 km** / approx. 330 m climb**)

Which bikes are approved?
The ErbeskopfBike is not a timed race, which means you can use absolutely any bike – be it a mountain bike, e-bike, tandem or gravel bike. Everyone can get involved. As the routes run through the forest and some sections are technically demanding, your bike should be suitable for more difficult terrain.
Is there an entry fee?
No, this event is free of charge for all participants.
Who is eligible to participate?
The event is open to anyone who enjoys getting around on two wheels.
How is the route secured?
As your safety is very important to us, the route is monitored by security personnel and the German Red Cross.
Are there sanitary facilities and showers?
Restrooms are available in the Hunsrückhaus. They are open 24/7.
Shower facilities are not available.
Where can I park my car?
You will find convenient parking spaces right at the Hunsrückhaus.
Where can I park my camper van?
Motorhomes can be parked free of charge in the motorhome parking area. Water and electricity are not available.
